Children's Nasheed Class

Service Description

Enrol your child on this much anticipated and popular course where students will learn the importance and manners of reciting Qur'an and singing nasheeds, as well as how to use their voice in the best way, using simple and well-known techniques. They will be encouraged to sing as a group as well as individually as they progress in their journey to learn inshad. Classes for boys and girls will take place at the same time, but in different classrooms in the same building. The boys will be taught by Brother Qassim and the girls will be taught by Sister Haleema. Brother Qassim has been a member of The Travellers - Al Musafirun since 2011, and has been fortunate to study with some of the greatest teachers of inshad. Sister Haleema has been a member of the Voice of the Hearts since 2010, and has been a lead singer and daff player. She has also travelled to various countries to sing poetry and teach the daff. Our syllabus will include the most classical poetry from the greatest poets of this Ummah, as well as an introduction to Maqamat (Arabic tunes). Classes will be two hours long, and will include time for a refreshment break. They will take place at The Olton Project, Kineton Green Road, Solihull, and will be conducted in a fun, safe, and Islamic environment. Both teachers are DBS qualified. We have previously had outstanding parent and student testimonials. Nasheed booklets will be provided to each student. Course price is £60 for 10 weeks (only £3 p/hr!)

Cancellation Policy

If your cancellation is at least 7 days in advance of the class, you will receive a full refund. Due to the high demand of wanting a space in our classes, if your cancellation is made within 7 days of the class start date, you will not receive a refund - however you will receive a gift certificate to attend a future class. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
